We have been offered an very nice antique dugout canoe/Cajun Pirogue.
It seems a nice example although it is not historically relevant to our collections here.
We would like to find an appropriate home for this boat.

The boat is located in Yonkers NY at present.
Owner states "The boat that is 13' long 24" wide and 10" deep . It is made from a single cypress log and is thin. It has been professionally restored and coated with clear fiberglass and is in excellent condition. It was made around 1900 in the bayou country near New Orleans Louisiana."
