Enthusiastic about Wooden Canoes
Looking forward to taking out the newly restored 50 pounder when the weather breaks but the better half needs some back support. Like the design of the Shaw & Tenny chairs but couldn't find much on the site for designs, any design ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here at Stevens Canoe Works we have patterns to make a couple of styles of canoe seats. The smaller ones are for the youngsters, they fit well in our Sweet Sixteen or in our Prospector. The mahogany caned seat is reserved for Miss Deborah when we use the Kingsbury courting canoe.

Steve, that caned mahogany chair is beautiful, like the fold down option better then Shaw & Tenny's under seat back storage, thank you.

I second that! The caned chair is awesome. I'm impressed that the back side looks so nice and finished, as well.
