CANOE SEATS LETTING YOU DOWN? Bring them to the WCHM Canoe Shop on Saturday August 6th from 1 to 5 p.m. and learn how to cane them yourself. The Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum (WCHM) is offering a class in canoe seat caning. Tracey Ledder will lead the class on using natural cane to restore old canoe seats or cane brand new ones. If you are interested in learning how to repair that old chair that has been in the basement for years, but have had no experience with caning, canoe seats are a great way to start.
