Michigan Canoe Nut
Don't worry, the 30 foot Regal broke the fall. Notice the Kennebac Joy Boy, 1 of about 200 ever made.

You should go buy a lottery ticket. It must be the month for good luck with accidents. The pictures below show a car that crashed through a snow bank, tree, fence, and into our offices last week. No one was hurt fortunately including the driver.

Chris, believe it or not those are quite common occurrences when the snow gets deep, I've adjusted quite a few claims with those. Benson, that is very common, i get those every week! At least no one was hurt, but sorry about the Regal, those are nice boats!

Now everyone go shovel your roof! Its the collapse season. Two feet of snow combined with spring rain is a deadly combination.

Chris,

I'm in the same boat.
I have a 10x20 tent that I store a boat and 2 canoes, including that Ogilvy I got from you.
I went out last weekend to shovel it off but the damage was already done.
All posts bent and the fabric laying on the canoes.
Need to get a pole barn up this year.

I haven't inspected close yet, but don't expect much if any damage.

Part of the load is carried by the trees and firewood pile next to it, the tent is leaning against the tree limiting how far it can go down.

We still have 20" of snow on the ground and another week of below zero weather, so a few weeks before I can do a good inspection.

BTW, the Ogilvy is sharing the space with a mid 50's 18.5 ft White Guide that Gene Jensen owned.
