A boy scout canoe
160526 was issued to a 16' Yankee model in CS grade with a keel. It was painted "aluminum", a popular color in the years of the post war Grumman canoes. It was shipped to a Boy Scout Council in Torrington, CT in September of 1953. A copy of the build record is attached.
Scans of approximately 210,000 records were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
