The Old Town canoe with serial number 106021 is a 17 foot long, AA (or top) grade, Otca model with red Western cedar planking, open mahogany gunwales, thwarts, a keel, and a floor rack. It was built between April and October, 1930. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It was shipped on May 23rd, 1931 to New York City. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
