B.N. Morris date?

Enthusiastic about Wooden Canoes
Here are a few pictures of my recently acquired Morris canoe. The serial number on the brass tag on the stem is 13490, which, according to the dating information found elsewhere on this wonderful site puts its date of manufacture right around 1913. Has any new research been done that would allow me to get a little closer to an actual date? Thanks very much.

Rushton, Morris records are still quite sparse and there are no confirmed ways of dating them other than saying pre-1920 (when the factory burned!) Kathy and Denis have been collecting info to put into a data bank. I'm sure you will here from them when we all get back from the WCHA Assembly in Peterborough, ON.

Thanks, Mike...

That's pretty much what I had thought. Looking forward to reading and hearing about the Canadian extravaganza.
