A canoe needs a ride from the east coast of NC to upstate NY

I've just been offered what looks to be an unrestored, short (11 foot?), Old Town 50 Pounder from a fella located on the east coast of North Carolina. I'm in upstate New York, Honeoye Falls, about 20 miles south of Rochester. Maybe someone can give it a ride?

The canoe is in rural Craven County just east of Havelock NC. I believe it to be an 11' Old Town 50 Pounder. It looks like it would survive a trip strapped atop a car.

I MAY be able to help. Live on NC and planning a trip to RI, ironically, to pick up a canoe. With Covid chaos won’t happen until end of month or beginning of June. Floyd.

Well, if times were different I would meet you in RI. I grew up in N. Scituate, RI, and still have family there. Not sure we can make it happen. Let's stay in touch though.
