The Old Town canoe with serial number 91129 is an 18 foot long, CS grade, Charles River model with Western red cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, oak decks, and oak thwarts, oak seats, and a keel. It was built between May and July, 1926. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on August 4th, 1926 to Sharon, Connecticut. There was a previous request of a copy of this information from Baldwinsville, New York on March 1st, 1976 as shown on the back. Scans showing both sides of this build record can be found below.

These scans and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well. Dang, alright then. Will get one of our sons to help transpose some pics, I am technology embarrassed. Apparently a Boy Scout Troop did a good restoration and a couple good dudes relocated it to my brothers in Middlesex, from all accounts they were fine lads.
