1937 old town canvas over cedar. Serial #118337 17

The Old Town canoe with serial number 118337 is a 17 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, Otca model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, birch decks, a keel, and a floor rack. It was built between June and December, 1936. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on June 8th, 1937 to Kingston, New York.
