1930's or 40's Old Town Trapper

Curious about Wooden Canoes
I just returned from purchasing an Old Town Trapper, #136456 16. Could you please post the build record.

Thanks, Tim

Old Town 136456 is a 16 foot CS (common sense) grade Yankee model, with open spruce gunwales, ash decks, thwarts, and seats, fitted with a keel and painted dark green before being shipped to Duluth, MN 5-24-1943.

Does this match your boat? If not, we can try again... I've attached the scan.

Scans of approximately 210,000 records were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. Additional information about the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/records/ if you want more details.

Thanks for the quick response Kathy. Everything on the canoe checks out with the build record, taking into consideration the changes the previous owner had made to the boat.
