Could someone please post the build record for Old Town #167454? It is a 15' Lightweight/Trapper model, red in color. No floor rack, outside stems or other accessories.

The Old Town canoe with serial number 167454 is a 15 foot long Fifty Pound model with a keel. It was built between April and June, 1958. The original exterior paint color was bright red. It shipped on July 9th, 1958 to Rochester, New York. A scan showing this build record can be found below.
This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ if you want more details. Your life membership to the WCHA is much appreciated.
It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match the canoe. This model wasn't renamed to become the Lightweight until the 1966 catalog. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.
