Yes, it's an Otca...
Hi Adam--
108457 was assigned to an 18 foot CS grade ("common sense", or not fancy) Otca with red Western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, and birch decks, birch seats, and birch thwarts. It was fitted with a keel, painted dark green and sent to M.W. Browne at Glen Cove Cottage in [what appears to be] Branchville, New Jersey on July 9, 1931-- so, you're coming up on the canoe's 77th birthday.
A scan of the build record is attached below. Scans of approximately 210,000 records were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. Additional information about the project to preserve these records is available at
