18' OT Guide Special Project

Hi everyone! New member here, 28yo from Rhode Island

I love a good forum and have been passively documenting the restoration of my first ever canoe and finally found a place to share. I've been moving this forward without guidance so I'm glad to have found this place as I near the canvasing.

The canoe is a great (manageable) project that I found 2 years ago. It sat for a year in my shop and two weeks ago (mid June 2024) I cracked into it. Both ends needed rebuilding so I designed the repairs to be an exact mirror on both ends. This is my first canoe, let alone a canvas canoe, and I can't wait to get it in the water! The goal is by fall 2024.... but who knows
