Check the stems again, you maybe missing a "1". Old Town #7064 comes back to a 9' dinghy shipped to New Jersey in 1907. The Old Town canoe with serial number 17064 is an 18 foot long, GS grade, Ideal Fisherman model with spruce gunwales, ash decks, thwarts, seats and a keel. It was built between February 1911 and June 1911. The original exterior paint color was slate. Four seat backs were included in the order. It shipped on June 24, 1911 to Chicago, Illinois. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link at the attached thumbnail image below.
This scan was created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well. I hope that you will join or renew your membership to the WCHA so that services like this can continue. See http://www.wcha.org/ to learn more about the WCHA and http://www.wcha.org/join.php to join or renew.
It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.
