We've recently inherited this canoe. It's in fine shape, with some repairs evident in the canvas, and one cracked rib. We're inclined to put it back into service on Lake Champlain, and would delight in knowing it's origins. Do you have build info for it?
Well, looks like you found one of the canoes with missing records, or perhaps the record was mis-filed out of sequence. We have 70161 and 70163, but 162 is missing. I can tell you that the canoe was probably built in 1922.
