The Old Town canoe with serial number 154441 is a 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, low end HW (heavy water) model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, thwarts in place of seats, and a keel. It was built between June and July, 1950. The original exterior paint color was light Yale blue. It shipped on July 19th, 1950 to Center Harbor, New Hampshire.
