Just a reminder of the annual Paddlers Rendezvous at Lighthouse Point,Killbear Provincial Park on the shore of Georgian Bay;September 7 - 10,2006.
I'm expecting in order of at least a dozen sailing canoes both open and decked new fangle models.
Last year we had a dozen and we co-habited the park with the Ontario Marathon Canoe Racing camp and an asortment of interested kayakers and recreational paddlers.
The water is warm and friendly.The bugs are gone and we have 300 camping places at our disposal.
Killbear Rendezvous is non-commercial and open to anyone with a paddle(or a sail).Park fees do apply.
