The Old Town canoe with serial number 100730 is a 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, Yankee model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, birch decks, birch thwarts, birch seats, and a keel. It was built between February and May, 1929. The original exterior paint was dark green. It was shipped on May 23rd, 1929 to Branchville, New Jersey. A scan of this build record can be found below.
