I am not a member of this group, but went along last weekend on one of the legs of the tour. They are paddling the length of the Fox River in short segments, combining history, conservation, and paddling enjoyment. The group was a mix of canoes(two strippers, one was mine), kayaks(two skin-on-frame), a stand up paddleboard, a 28 voyager replica canoe with a total of 26 boats.
Their schedule has been upset because of the flooding this week, but it was supposed to end with a paddle into the bay of Green Bay for the Tall Ships Festival, on August 14.
It would be great to see more w/c or wood canoes in the mix. Hope to see you there.

It would be REALLY cool to have a birchbark canoe along. How could I have forgotten?
