Who can tell me about Adirondack canoe builder, A.B.Moody?

In the upcoming Blanchard Premier Adirondack Auction, there are (among other wonderful items) several canoes attributed to A.B.Moody. They have an interesting guidebook-like construction method, with a bottom board and thin (presumably grown) ribs just like a guideboat. See the attached:

Sulavik's guideboat book has a section about him. Without treading on copyrights, Alric B. Moody was active 1880s to 1920s, works for W. A. Martin in Saranac Lake, Rushton in Canton, thence to Tupper Lake. He was a chief guide at Whitney Park, which might explain the handful of his canoes in this auction.

For more, buy the book :)
