Hi - recently purchased this boat and would love to know more about it. Serial # 16 52 1553 - is there more information available? I understand Old Town bought out White Canoe Co back in the 80's. Thank you!

No, there aren't any known White records from this era available. The format indicates that you have a 16 foot long boat from 1952 with serial number 1553. Old Town purchased White in November, 1984 but no historical records were transferred. The 1947 White catalog at the link below indicates that you may have the 1952 version of their Outboard Sea Master model shown on page 12. Nice find,
