Unknown builder serial # C 10660

Olivemyjourneys

Chris Harris
This canoe is in the 16’ range. Was once a cedar and canvas boat, that what fibreglassed over at some point over the years.
The only remaining identifier is the serial number

any info is appreciated.

It will take more than a serial number alone to identify this one. Most of the older builders didn't use letters in their serial numbers. Chestnut and Penn Yan occasionally did but none of their records are available. Can you provide some pictures of the serial numbers and the boat?

My guess would be a Chestnut but others here know more about Canadian canoes than I do. Good luck with the project,
