The opening reception for an exhibit of Jerry Stelmik’s artwork and canoes will be on November 6th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Monson Arts Gallery at 8 Greenville Road in Monson, Maine as described below.
The Maine State Museum (https://mainestatemuseum.org/) at 230 State Street in Augusta, Maine has reopened with a display of a very interesting old canoe that will be featured in the next issue of the Wooden Canoe magazine. See https://forums.wcha.org/threads/15946/ for more about the canoe. The plan is for a chapter gathering there on Friday, December 4th starting at 11:00 AM. Cushnoc Brewing (https://www.cushnocbrewing.com/) at 243 Water Street in Augusta has been suggested as a good place for a late lunch after we finish at the museum.
