We've now "re-homed" three canoes, using the WCHA classifieds! Maxine and Jim bought the first Old Town canoe to join our fleet a couple years back. It's a 1912 HW with sponsons and outside stems that should be really sweet once restored.
I hope Jim posts pictures of this project (hint) as it progresses. He learned canoe restoration from Joe Seliga--- one of the best!
Nice to find a good home for a canoe... but nicer still to meet more good folks who share this interest.
(In the attached picture, Denis stands between Jim and Maxine as the Old Town is secured to the car.)
