Ten foot canoe

I am a WCHA member. I remember finding a website some years ago where I listed the serial number below and found the original sales slip. I even posted my own photographs of the canoe. How can I access that information? 10 23272.
Thanks!

If you click on Advanced Search, upper right on this page, then in the KEYWORD box type 23272, you get the original answer to your inquiry. Tom McCloud

Thanks. I found an old post from someone who plugged in that serial number. His canoe didn't turn out to be an Old Town, but the Old Town build record was attached. That is certainly my boat, and some of the specifics match my memory of seeing it years ago. I wonder where I posted photographs of it. I have no idea what my user name was back then. I also remember seeing a pie chart showing numbers of specific models. The 10' model (1912) was a very thin sliver of that graph - perhaps used as a window display(?).

That graph is at http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/lengths.jpg and ten foot canoes fell in the "Others (<1% each)" since this was not a standard length. The page at http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ has a description of the project that generated these numbers. The build record for your canoe at http://forums.wcha.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=28231&d=1396794446 shows that it came with a double paddle so it probably wasn't a window display. The record at http://forums.wcha.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=7950&d=1246374621 shows an 11 foot sign canoe that was used as a display. Please post some more pictures of yours,

Benson
