Should I restore this 1971 Northland wood/glass boat?

I'm with Dan. Now that you did all the hard work of removing the glass the real question is " Why the hell put glass on it again?"

Here's some progress photography on this project, if you're still following this thread. Stripping the inside was tough ... based on what I saw on a previous thread I think the builder might have finished the interior with urethane resin instead of varnish. Oh well, it's going to be varnish now! Also, I'm looking for a replacement nameplate for this boat, in case I (possibly, probably, definitely) damage it trying to remove it from the deck. Should I try to call the elusive and aging Albert Maw again?
