Hi,
Your canoe is a 16' Guide model with keel and originally painted dark green. It was built in 1962 -63 and sold to a man in Contoocook, NH.
This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ if you want more details. Thanks for the quick reply. The boat is now dark blue but when I re-canvas it I'll go back dark green.
