The Old Town canoe with serial number 66816 is a 17 foot long, AA grade, HW model with red Western cedar planking, open mahogany gunwales, mahogany decks, mahogany thwarts, a keel, a floor rack, sponsons, two flag pole sockets, and two painter rings. It was built between July, 1921 and January, 1922. The original exterior paint color was dark green with a one and 5/8 inch black stripe edged in gold. It shipped on February 3rd, 1922 to Chicago, Illinois. A scan of this build record can be found below.
