Serial Number Location

I have an old Robertson wood and canvas canoe which was inherited from my Dad. I'm 72 and he owned it during my whole life, plus he bought it used. I've no idea where to look for the serial number, anybody able to help?

The Robertson numbers are usually on the inside stems and the information at http://www.wcha.org/forums/index.php?threads/791/ may help. Some later Robertson canoes would have them on the ribs in the same areas as shown at http://www.wcha.org/forums/index.php?threads/12417/ for example. Please post some pictures when you find them.
