The Old Town canoe with serial number 46955 is an 18 foot long, CS (Common Sense or middle) grade, Otca model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, oak decks, oak thwarts, oak seats, a keel, outside stems, a floor rack, and sponsons. It was built between December, 1916 and February, 1917. The original exterior paint color was bright green. It was shipped on April 7th, 1917 to Baltimore, Maryland.
