Serial number for Old Town Canoe

The Old Town canoe with serial number160907 is shown as 16 feet long, CS (common sense or standard) grade, Otca model equipped with a keel.. The canoe was built between October and December 1953. The original exterior paint was dark green. It was shipped to North Easton, Massachusetts on January 29, 1954. It was returned to repair damages on March 11, 1954, then was shipped to New Britain, Connecticut on April 15, 1954. These scans and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
