Seat backs…

Michigan Canoe Nut
I brought in a 1924 OT Ideal model from a customer. I realize the wide seatback may be OT. The “double lobed” one is unrecognizable to me. Thoughts? Maker? Home made?

I love accessories like these and have collected a wide variety of backrests, but I've never seen this style before. As you know, it's possibly homemade, but maybe from some obscure builder? The fasteners are large compared to all other backrests I've ever seen, and I've never seen cross-bracing like this. The shape of the bottom is particularly unusual; maybe just for style, or maybe designed to fit over a keelson?

I've never seen one like that either. Appears to be Mahogany? Well made for sure but with its's own quirks. Benson might have seen this in catalogs.
