Rollin Thurlow's Morris replica

Jill and I live in Tucson, AZ, now. It is hard to find nice canoeing water around here.

We have donated over 20 historic canoes to the Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum (http://www.wcha.org/forums/index.php?threads/wisconsin-canoe-heritage-museum.16696/), in Spooner, WI, which really started the museum going.

Rollin Thurlow (https://www.wooden-canoes.com/canoes/b-n-morris-15/) made us a beautiful 15' Morris replica, which hangs in our living room, with Jill seated on the couch below (see photo below). When I sit on our couch I can look up and enjoy Rollin's wonderful craftsmanship and the sleek beauty of a well made wood-and-canvas canoe.

Jerry Stelmok is making us a lightweight 16' Scout (https://bmwdean.com/scout-canoe.jpg) this year, which we will actually get wet at Patagonia Lake State Park, south of Tucson, and perhaps elsewhere. We still have all the beautiful paddles Alexandra Conover Bennett made for us (http://paddlemaking.blogspot.com/2017/10/mid-1990s-northwoods-paddles-alexandra.html).

We miss having ready access to Wisconsin's canoeing waters and to living in Madison from May through October.
