Restoration Supplies at the Assembly?

John Sand

LOVES Wooden Canoes
I will be there this year with a canoe that needs new canvas, at least one rib and plank. I don't remember seeing any materials for sale at previous assemblies, but I wasn't looking.

Some vendors may bring some materials but I would encourage you to contact your preferred vendor in advance to be sure that they bring everything that you want. It could save on shipping. Good luck,

Benson

As Benson says best to pre-order as I have done previously. It’s an idea to check with Annie Burke to see which vendors are registered to attend but even if they are not coming the WCHA bush telegraph and courier system often works. Reminded me of watching the Security guy at Montreal airport a couple of years ago. I was carrying a few pounds of tacks and screws in my hand luggage; he wanted to check in the bag so he plunged his hand in and rifled around with a grimace on his face. I warned him but...............
