Todd: The Old Town canoe with serial number 142383 is a 16 foot long, CS grade, Yankee model with open spruce gunwales, ash decks and a keel. It was built between June and October, 1945. The original exterior paint color was bright red. It was shipped on October 12th, 1945 to Claremont, NH ?. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link at the attached thumbnail image below.
