Hello Everyone,
I'm new to historical canoe world and had a few questions regarding a canoe that I recently acquired. It was given to me by an 95 year old man that said it was given to him in 1910, and that it was a Peterburough. It is completely made of wood and has a metal strip down the hull.
Here are the Canoe's measurements -
Length - 16'
Width - 33"
Depth - 12"
Oar #1 length - 118.5"
Oar #2 length - 114.5"
The markings on the canoe say Peterburough, as well as on the oars. If you need any more info please let me know.
If anyone could help I would truly appreciate it,
Strider
