Plan on restoring

I just purchased at a yard sale, well lets say a rather rough looking canoe.
HIN or serial number is MOKR16020980. I have not been able to determine the make. It looks to me to be a Merrimack; then again the wood detail of the decks tells me otherwise. I am looking to restore this and the mfg would help me get it back to it original look.

The U.S. Coast Guard database at http://www.uscgboating.org/recalls/mic_detail.aspx?id=MOK indicates that this was built by Moon Boats of Florida in September, 1980 and that they are "Out of Business" now. It is likely that this is really MCK as mentioned in the other thread about this canoe. Good luck with the restoration,
