Perplexed by possible Peterborough

Looking for some guidance in figuring the age and model of this canoe. It is a Peterborough according to the stickers on the decks, and the little metal plates where the thwarts are attached. (not sure if they are called thwarts on canoes, please forgive all terminology foibles). It is about 15.5 feet long, 30”wide at beam, and 15” high at beam. It has a lateen sail rig and lee boards(?) It is lovely to look at.

You will see there is what might be a serial and/or model number in one of the thwarts. I’ve not found any other marks or numbers. Maybe 604,060? That does not jive with numbers I’ve read about on the web, where I’ve mostly learned that the Peterborough serial number “system” is not linear/logical, and that in fact, a Peterborough might not even be an actual Peterborough!

We would like to sell the canoe, however I have no way to determine its value. It is in excellent shape except there is some powder-post beetle activity. Any information, guidance or thoughts would be appreciated.

Welcome, my guess would be a Peterborough model number 63 rib and batten canoe from sometime between 1909 and 1923. However, there are many here who know much more about Peterborough canoes than I do, so a better identification may be available.
