Paint for Chestnut PVC coated canvas

Hi- I have a Chestnut deer with pvc coated canvas. The canoe needs repainting but I do not know what the most appropriate/authentic paint I should use. Could anyone offer any help? I`m in the UK so may not get hold of N.American products? Cheers Tony

As far as I know, what you have is what you have. In other words- paint will not adhear to the pvc, at least not for very long! Maybe you can wax it to make it look better but I'm not sure if that would work either.
