Hi All,
Over the weekend I was at Paddle in the Park in Crystal Lake, IL. showing a few canoes, talking to folk and flying the WCHA Banner with the assistance of Paul Klonowski.
I had three Old Towns and a Peterborough canoe on display.
A young couple with a few children were admiring the canoes when the question of age came up.
When I mentioned they ranged from 70 to 99 years, one of the kids said "wow that's older than Grampa", I said just a minute that's a bit close to home, I'm a Grampa.
Always fun to meet people and talk canoes,
