P.E. Hall wood canvas kayak

Hi Everybody,

I have had this kayak for almost 10 years and finally took the canvas off at which time some of the deck plank is falling off. I was able to get a great picture of the plate on the front stem that reads P E Hall, and G Guest builder 1934.

The kayak is about 17' long and the bottom is built just like a canoe with ribs, planking and canvas. It also has pointed half ribs. The deck has cut frames with planking attached. Many of the frames are falling out and hence the planking.

I'm wondering if anyone out East has ever heard of P.E. Hall. I did purchase this kayak somewhere out east, I think it was somewhere in the state of New York.
