Overhead canoe rack

I built a overhead canoe rack to store my canoe in the boat dock.
I used baler belting, aluminum round bar and a couple of rope pulleys.

Why isn't that boat house coated in mud dauber nests and spider webs like mine is??

Just got it in October.
I am sure they will find it soon.
