Old Town 113618 is an 18' CS (common sense or middle) grade Otca model canoe that was completed February-- May of 1934. It has red Western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, birch decks, birch thwarts, birch seat frames, a keel, sponsons, and originally had #4 design. The canoe was shipped to Andover, NJ, on May 10, 1934. A copy of this record is attached below; click on it to get a larger image.
Scans of approximately 210,000 records were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. Additional information about the project to preserve these records is available at
