OT 15' square stern

The Old Town canoe with serial number 133025 is an 15 foot long, CS grade, Square End Paddling model with open spruce gunwales, ash decks, thwarts, spruce seats, half ribs, outside stems and a keel. It was built between July 1941 and Otober 1941. The original exterior paint color was dark green. Reference is made on the back of the card that repairs were made including new ribs, planking, rails and seats from June thru July 1962. It shipped on April 13, 1942 to Concord, Mass. A scan of this build record can be found by following the link at the attached thumbnail image below.

This scan was created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well. I hope that you will join or renew your membership to the WCHA so that services like this can continue. See http://www.wcha.org/ to learn more about the WCHA and http://www.wcha.org/join.php to join or renew.

It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.
