Hi all,
I am wrapping up my restoration of my '45 war canoe. I have a question;
The deck framework on mine looks like it might have been possibly held to the stem with a bent piece of iron strap. The decks had been worked on, but the framing was original. Does anyone out there know what OT did, from the factory? (I am talking about the center, fore and aft, piece of framing. The funny shaped piece that flares at the stem) As always, a picture is worth a thousand words!
