I acquired an older 16’ Old Town that has never been used. It’s Sunday and I’m excited to learn anything I can about her, so came to ya’ll being Old Town Company isn’t open. The serial #183828. Also I would like to find her a new home so any suggestion on where to start looking for a buyer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Old Town put serial number 183828 on a fiberglass kayak that is 14 feet 8 inches long in 1969 so that isn't a good match. Can you provide some pictures of the serial numbers from each end or indicate which digit is least clear? The suggestions at the link below may help if several of the digits are not clear.
