Old town sailing canoe

One of my wife's co-workers sent her information that there is an Old Town sponson sailing canoe (listed as a 1939) in Craig's list in Lee, NH. The posting number in 1097704028. The mast and sail are up in the picture and the guy is only asking $95.00! Someone should pick this one up. It's too far for me to go.

I called him last night and e-mailed him. Have not heard back. The listing has been pulled. What a steal!

Wish I could've seen it, but I'm temporarily blocked from Craigslist.

In the future, it'd probably be great for posterity if one or two photos from interesting or unique boats on eBay or Craigslist are reposted here.

It's a little extra work, but make for much more interesting archives!

There's a 1939 sailing canoe on Ebay now, somewhere in New York, that could possibly be the same canoe.

No, the New Hampshire one had sponsons and short decks. The eBay one at http://cgi.ebay.com/_W0QQitemZ180340184904 has no sponsons and longer Otca decks. The overall condition looked similar though. I checked my cache and several other locations but couldn't find a saved picture of the New Hampshire one. Sorry,

I checked my tracks and found a picture of the NH canoe.

If vatwood didn't get it I don't know who could!!
