Hello Scott.
170057 appears on a 15', 50# model, dark green, that was shipped to Philadelphia in July of 1960. It looks like the original was build without seats, but they were added the same day the canoe was shipped. It was dark green.
123817 appears on a 16' Otca in CS grade with birch decks, keel, floor rack and full length bang plate. It was shipped to Antrim, NH in 1938. Both build records are attached.
Scans of approximately 210,000 records were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. Additional information about the project to preserve these records is available at

It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.
