Hi,

We are looking for old town color Schemes?
One in particular with green and red triangles.
I can't seem to find any info on here.
Thanks
Ralph

I am not familar with a standard Old Town color design pattern that has both green and red triangles. The poster has a good summary and the design number four with red and blue triangles was very popular as Mark mentioned. The page at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/designs/thumbnal.html also shows this information in a lower resolution. Please post a picture if you paint one of these. Thanks,

Benson

The 1922 catalog shows design numbers 11 to 14 and 16 on the pages with those numbers but none of these have triangles. You mean the design number 28 which is shown at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/designs/des-4-28.gif from page 15 of the 1925 catalog. This appears to be a green version of the design number four although it wasn't printed well. I've never seen an original example of this so don't know what colors were really used. The image below shows a war canoe with a design number four. Please post a picture of yours when it is done.
